9 Nov 2009

The Centre and the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) are screening the inaugural speech given by incoming RSA Chairman, Luke Johnson, on the importance of invention. In a wide-ranging talk that touches on innovations in sectors from air-conditioning to genetic modification, and climate change to MP3 players, the lecture suggests that we should renew our commitment to industrial and social pioneers who can provide solutions to the challenges that lie ahead.
The debate will be moderated by The Centre’s Jill Craig
