The Centre

The Centre organises the launch of the new book of geopolitics expert Charles Emmerson, “The Future History of the Arctic”. The book is about the exceptional story of a region finding its way to the centre of the issues which will challenge and define our world in the twenty-first century: energy security and the struggle for natural resources, climate change and its uncertain speed and consequences, the return of great power competition and the remaking of global trade patterns. H.E. Ambassador Ross Hornby, Head of the Mission of Canada to the European Union and Geir Westgaard, Head of the Statoil EU Affairs Office, will be here to comment on Charles’ book.
