Fostering the Integration of Children from Immigrant Families
UNICEF, with the support of The Centre, is organising a discussion on the Innocenti Insight report on Children of Immigrant Families in Eight Affluent Countries. The roundtable discussion will bring together stakeholders from the EU Institutions, civil society and business to discuss government policies to foster further social inclusion and civil integration of immigrant children across a wide range of areas.
Speakers will include Donald Hernandez, Professor of Children, Youth and Public Policy, Albany University and author of the report,
Valentin Duenas Jimenez, Labour and Social Affairs Counsellor, Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union, Spanish Presidency, Jean Lambert, Member of the European Parliament and Marie-Anne Paraskevas, European Commission, DG Employment, Social Affairs & Equal Opportunities.
The discussion will be moderated by Simon Wilson.
