The Centre

UACES, with the support of The Centre, organises a lunchtime seminar on the relationship between China and the EU with Prof Jing Men, InBev-Baillet-Latour Professor of European Union-China Relations, College of Europe. She will present the differences between the EU and China in terms of history, economic development levels and their nation-building trajectories. She will discuss their strategic visions, economic and trade cooperation, and climate change policies. She will analyse the challenges in EU-China relations and address questions such as: Why does the EU-China partnership encounter many problems? What are the causes of these problems? Can they be overcome?
