The Centre

The Centre, in collaboration with the US Mission to the EU, organise a discussion on the lessons learned from Copenhagen with a specific focus on the role that civil society has played in shaping the international climate change negotiations. Ruth Greenspan Bell, Acting US Climate Policy Director of the Washington-based World Resources Institute, Delia Villagrasa, Senior Advisor to the European Climate Foundation, and Tim Gore, EU Climate Change Policy Advisor at Oxfam International, will assess the impact of the civil society movement on past climate change negotiations and will share their expectations for 2010.
