24 Mar 2010
The Centre and the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) have convened a discussion of the new SWP report analysing the negotiating priorities of the key parties in the international climate negotiations with a focus on the so-called BASIC countries (Brazil, China, India, and South Africa). Susanne Dröge, editor of the report and a leading climate policy specialist, will present the main conclusions of the paper, while the experts Gudrun Wacker and Claudia Zilla will offer insights on China’s and Brazil’s policies and positions. MEP Jo Leinen, Chairman of the European Parliament’s Environment Committee, will respond.
