RSA Lecture
Connected: The amazing power of social networks (screening)
28 Apr 2010
Our colleagues, our friends and family members – the networks of people that we build around us –have a huge influence on how we live our lives. In this RSA lecture Nicholas Christakis from the Harvard Department of Sociology turns the notion of the self-directed individual on its head, and shows us the power of social networks in all aspects of life, from the mourning process to trends in obesity. The lecture screening will be followed by a discussion led by Michael Devlin on the RSA’s Connected Communities project.
Exceptionally this event will take place at The Marriott Hotel, rue Auguste Orts 3-7/Grand Place, 1000 Brussels.
