There is metered parking on Avenue Marnix and adjoining streets, though this is not always available. An alternative is the Parking 2 Portes, the entrance to which is at Porte de Namur.
By taxi
A taxi ride from Brussels National Airport (Zaventem) should cost around €45-50; from the South Station (Gare du Midi), around €10.
By metro
Trône / Troon – leave the station via the Rue du Luxembourg exit and walk down Avenue Marnix past the large ING building to The Centre.
Porte de Namur / Naamsepoort – leave the station via the Avenue Marnix exit and walk past the Deutsche Bank building to The Centre.
By train
From the airport, trains leave every 20 minutes for the city centre (both the Gare Centrale and the Gare du Midi). Porte de Namur is four stops from the Gare du Midi (direct) and three stops from the Gare Centrale (with a change at Arts-Loi).
On foot
The Centre is 10 minutes' walk from Avenue Louise and 15 minutes' walk from the Grand Place. The European Parliament is 10 minutes' walk and the EU Council and main Commission buildings are around 15 minutes away.
